Gary LeDrew lived on Louisbourg Lighthouse.as a child. He moved to and lived in Uxbridge Ontario. most of his life.

He has had an adventurous life, including sailing in the Caribbean on sailboats and delivering racing yachts and was

a bosun on a Squarerigger. He has worked in movies and the

entertainment business and computers. He painted most of his life and has had several Art Shows many featuring historic scenes of Uxbridge

In 2004 he moved back to Louisbourg, photographing and creating Art of his favourite place in the world. Louisbourg Cape Breton Island
